Darcy & Jess are two of the most kind and genuine people you will ever meet. On the morning of their wedding, during the bustle of getting ready, Jess kept trying to help me move furniture around while I was photographing details. I told her to go relax but she wanted to make sure that everyone had what they needed.
When her dress was buttoned and her veil securely fastened, Jess made her way to see her dad for the first time as a bride. Her mom and bridesmaids watched with tears in their eyes as Jess and her dad hugged and cried for a good long while, before heading off to the wedding ceremony at St Michaels Church.
The rest of the day was absolutely beautiful. Darcy and Jess were surrounded by so many people who love and care for them. They had an incredible bridal party made up of lifelong friends, who made the afternoon of photos so much fun.
The Links of Glen Eagles did a fantastic job with the reception, which was decorated so beautifully with roses, wood slabs, and love quotes. The night ended with a little bit of rain so we snuck out after dinner to take some nighttime photos.
Darcy & Jess – thank you so much for allowing me into your lives to capture some incredible moments of your wedding day. I wish you a lifetime filled with a love that continues to grow in depth, strength, and tenderness as the years pass by.
Her dad seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress…
…and the girls watching from above.
Jessica and her bridesmaids burned the words of 1 Corinthians 13 onto wood slabs to hang on the end of each aisle. It was such a great way to add a personal touch to the ceremony at St Michaels.
That moment when it becomes real…
The bride and groom took communion together for the first time as husband and wife, and then the congregation stretched out their hands in blessing towards the newlyweds.
Jessica’s “something old” was her grandma’s ring which she pinned to her bouquet of red roses.

Great photos. You did a fantastic job with the outdoor photos in the late summer field!!!
Thank you Ronald!
Gorgeous images and I love your details shots. Outstanding job!
Thanks so much Lori!
I love all of the photos but I think my favorites are the black and white, or the field ones… Too many awesome ones to choose from!
I love black and white SO much! Thank you Meg!
What a gorgeous bride! They make a lovely couple. I love the detail shots in the beginning. My favorite photographs have to be the ones of the bride seeing her father, and also the laughing/crying shots during the toasts. We also played the shoe game at our wedding, and it’s fun to look back at how hard we were laughing with our guests at our responses. Great photos!
Thanks so much Britney! She is such a beautiful bride – inside and out. The shoe game is so much fun to see everyone’s reactions to the answers:)
