You know what’s amazing? New life. Seriously, I can’t get over it. Maybe I’m in a sappy mood because my own babies just started Grade One. Or maybe, it’s because when I take a step back from the midst of day-to-day tasks and to-do lists, the beauty of this life sinks a little deeper into my heart.
I got to meet Katy & Peter when they had just gotten engaged. I watched them pledge their love to each other in marriage, and I got to celebrate with them as they awaited the arrival of their first child. An absolutely perfect, sweet little girl named Abigail. Half Peter, half Katy.
