Driving out to the mountains always feels like a breath of fresh air, a focus, a re-set. There’s just something about leaving the city behind and stepping out of my car in a vastly different – quiet & majestic – environment that quiets the mind and rejuvenates me for whatever is coming next.
I got to meet Patrick & Jillian out a Barrier Lake in Kananaskis to photograph their engagement. We followed the sun as it set behind the mountains, played in the trees and danced on the lakeshore. These two are perfectly suited for each other and it was a pleasure to capture their amazing connection.
