Rocky Mountain Engagement Photos | Hannah & Austin

I’ve known Hannah and Austin for quite a few years, and have taken photos of each of their families on numerous occasions. But I had no idea that they had gotten together and so when we first met to discuss their wedding and I realized that Hannah’s fiancé was that Austin, I was completely shocked! I think I just yelled “WHAT?!?” for several minutes with a dumbfounded look on my face. They just smiled and laughed and told me about how their friendship had turned into romance, and now are planning a spring wedding at Heritage Park.

We took a road trip to the mountains on a beautiful, sunny winter day to shoot their engagement photos. We drove through the picturesque scenery of the Rocky Mountains, ran to chase the setting sun (literally), and finished off at the very bridge where Austin proposed to Hannah. These two were up for anything including getting wind-whipped, driving through avalanche territory, and almost getting stuck driving up the mountain. Their playful banter made the session so much fun and it was so clear to me that these two have a deep and genuine relationship.

Hannah & Austin – Thank you both SO much for allowing me to capture these beautiful memories for you. I am beyond thrilled that you found each other and I pray that God will richly bless you in your marriage. I can’t wait to witness you say your vows!
