Saskatoon Wedding Photographers
Patrick and Cindy’s long awaited wedding day was one of pure love and celebration. It was a time of remembrance and a time of looking back at all that they have been through in the last couple of years.
Patrick and Cindy got married on August 21, 2012. They pulled a wedding together in 2 weeks and got married in Patrick’s parents backyard. Cindy’s dad walked her down the aisle and they began their new life together. They had planned to have a more formal ceremony in BC the next spring.
Several months later, Cindy’s dad got sick and later passed away. The wedding got put on hold.
Cindy told me that they put plans in motion for 7 or 8 more weddings until they finally decided on a church ceremony on August 9, 2014 in Saskatoon. They had already been married for almost 2 years, and their deep, real love was so evident.
The bride and groom got pampered at the luxurious Bessborough hotel, Cindy put on her gorgeous lace gown and her father’s watch. The guests were seated, and home video footage of Cindy’s dad walking her down the aisle began to play. As Pat and Cindy renewed their vows, they not only spoke of their love and plans for the future, but the difficult times that they have already seen in their marriage, and how God has brought them through and is growing their love deeper through those hardships. It was humbling to witness.
Patrick and Cindy, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day. I was honoured and blessed to witness your love for one another.
