The Commons Calgary Wedding Photographer

Keri-Anne & Gui were married just over a year ago in Gui’s homeland of Brazil. Many of their friends and family weren’t able to join them at their wedding, so they decided to have another one!

On a VERY cold February day, these two got all dressed up again and got to re-live their most amazing day and create new memories with their Canadian friends and family. We first met up at St Patricks Island, where Gui saw Keri in her dress for the first time. We intermittently took photos in between warm-up sessions and the smiles never left either of their faces.

We made our way over to The Commons, where everyone was busy setting up the most beautiful, industrial-chic style reception complete with letter balloons, brick walls and chandeliers. Guests were seated at tables numbered by trivia answers, and Keri-Anne was escorted hand-in-hand by her dad. The bride and groom vowed their lives and love to one another for a second time, with a deeper understanding of what that love demands.

Keri’s brother sang “I Lava You” from Pixar’s short film, which was the perfect, sweetly romantic soundtrack to this amazing day.
